We've improved the content of our courses to include more interactivity, further learning and independent thought. Our courses are now designed to help staff apply the knowledge and skills in their own setting. This has been achieved through more reflective questions during the course, to encourage them to think about what they've just learned through activities, research and their own experience. The duration is an approximate time that takes account of that, in addition to the individual components listed above.
